SafeMech can provide reports on the causes of accidents from Machinery and Work Equipment and we can suggest solutions to prevent recurrence.

As a responsible employer, if you are unlucky enough to have an accident with one of your machines you have a moral and legal duty to do everything you can to ensure that it does not happen again.

We can investigate the causes of an accident and produce an independent report. We can make recommendations on how to avoid the same accident in the future.

Prompt investigation of the causes of accidents and competent implementation of measures to prevent recurrence will show Health and Safety Executive inspectors that you have a responsible attitude.

If HSE inspectors raise problems with your equipment during an examination, we may be able to provide a technical justification of why your measures are in fact adequate or how they can be improved with maximum cost benefit.

SafeMech monitors HSE publications and current accidents and prosecutions so we maintain a good awareness of the current enforcement climate.

You have a legal duty to report some accidents, work related illnesses and dangerous occurences to the HSE. We can advise you when this is the case.
